Cavagrande del Cassibile

Pantalica
This necropolis is a large, designed cemetery with elaborate tomb monuments. The name stems from the Ancient Greek νεκρόπολις nekropolis, literally meaning "city of the dead". This is the most extensive one, named UNESCO Patrimony site, in the Mediterranean area and it is rich in autochthonous animal life sightings.
Noto
Baroque Style Sicilian Capital, Noto is well worth more than one visit. Also, UNESCO patrimony it offers year-round cultural activities, architectural wonders and an extraordinary view of its farmlands, especially its citrus gardens. Marzamemi

Ortigia
A small corner of paradise, Ortigia is an island a few hundred meters from the city of Syracuse, of which it represents the historic center.
In Ortigia there are millennia of history evidenced, ranging from ancient Greece with its temples to the '600, with the Cathedral of Siracusa and the Baroque.
There are also priceless masterpieces such as The Burial of Saint Lucia by Caravaggio.
Modica
Another UNESCO World Heritage Site, Modica is one of the largest cities in Sicily but also one of the richest in culture and charm.
The key words of this beautiful city set in a canyon are definitely "Baroque" and "Chocolate.”
In fact, it is here that an important part of Baroque architecture is concentrated; however, Modica is also famous for its chocolate: a recipe imported directly from the Spanish rulers, who in turn had learned it in the South American colonies.
Ragusa Ibla
Historic center of the city of Ragusa, Ragusa Ibla has over fifty churches that make this center one of the greatest expressions of the Baroque in Sicily.
Special mention goes to the Cathedral of San Giorgio, which has contributed to making Ragusa Ibla one of the most important tourist destinations in south-eastern Sicily.
Finally, the city was the site of many filming of the successful series Il Commissario Montalbano. For this reason, it is possible to relive the atmosphere of its cinematographic scenes by wandering through the streets and alleys of Ibla.
Catania

Etna
One of the most active volcanoes in the world, as well as the highest in Europe, Etna majestically dominates Catania and its metropolitan area.
